The origins of our commitment
Alimentos Delcasino was founded when a young man from Samaná, Caldas, who was working in the capital, decided to turn his severance pay into an opportunity. At 19 years old and with 1,500 pesos, he launched a project with a clear vision: to develop sauces that met the real needs of restaurant kitchens and fast-food businesses, while always maintaining a fair price.
In the mornings, he visited his clients, and from home, he ran the business alongside his wife. Through hard work, a close connection to the market, and a clear commitment to service, he began to build a company that not only grew as a family business but also supported the growth of hundreds of entrepreneurs, food businesses, and distributors who found in this portfolio an opportunity to strengthen and expand their own ventures.
What began as a family business is now a sauce company in Colombia with more than four decades of experience. It has established itself as a leader in Bogotá and has a nationwide presence through a network of partner distributors who have found in our product portfolio a real opportunity to grow, expand their business, and develop markets in different regions.
With a portfolio of four brands, we address a variety of operational, convenience, and market segment needs within the food industry.
Led by the second generation and with a team of more than 160 employees, we now work alongside meat processors, distributors, and thousands of restaurants that need more than just a product: they need support, consistency, and reliability in every preparation.
